Plan on joining us for the 6th annual Dave Worden Classic to raise money for Melanoma research for Dana-Farber and DEFY CANCER.
In 2001, I was diagnosed with Melanoma after having a mole removed from my calf. I had successful surgery and was in remission until the summer of 2019. I have stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma and being treated at at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston MA. It became important to me that any one with the risk of melanoma understand how to prevent and treat melanoma and why I created the Dave Worden Classic. Melanoma is a cancer that needs more research to find a cure. The Dave Worden Classic was created to raise awareness to prevent melanoma and money to cure it. In our first five years, we have raised almost $300,000 for cancer research.
